Luma AI, the frontier artificial\u00a0 intelligence company building multimodal AGI intelligence and known for its flagship\u00a0 product <\/span>Dream Machine<\/span>, today announced a major step in its global expansion with the\u00a0 opening of its first international office in London, UK.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As creative economies decentralize and new production hubs emerge across EMEA,\u00a0 Luma AI is positioning its capabilities where creative work is increasingly being\u00a0 produced – not just consumed. To build intelligence that truly serves global creators,\u00a0 Luma AI will work alongside them in their markets, cultures, and workflows. London is\u00a0 the first step in that strategy, as it has the unique position as a global center of\u00a0 advertising, brands, and entertainment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Luma AI expects to create 200 roles in London in 2026, across research, engineering,\u00a0 partnerships, and strategic development. By 2028, the company expects to significantly\u00a0 add roles across the UK, Europe, and Saudi Arabia as new workflows emerge in\u00a0 advertising, brands, and entertainment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jason Day, formerly Executive Vice President of Global Growth at Monks, will lead\u00a0 international business development, strategic partnerships, and customer expansion\u00a0 outside the United States. He brings more than 15 years of experience building global\u00a0 client relationships and scaling creative and technology teams across Europe, the\u00a0 Middle East, Africa, and Asia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before joining Monks, Day held senior roles at WPP – including Global Business\u00a0 Director and Director for WPP-Scangroup – and holds an MBA from the University of\u00a0 Oxford\u2019s Said Business School. His background in operational excellence, P&L\u00a0 leadership, and talent development gives Luma AI a strong foundation for responsible\u00a0 growth in new markets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The expansion follows Luma AI\u2019s recently announced $900 million Series C funding\u00a0 round.
